THIS MORNING:
Yep, freaking out here. My druid, the owner of my Alliance house, cannot see the house - just a for sale sign. Tried my hunter and she can see it fine, as do fellow guild members. Completed all the usual troubleshooting steps: deleted Cache & WTF folders, disabled all addons, ran Scan & Repair, etc. I can’t think of what else to do, it simply doesn’t make sense.
FYI, this started with using SW port to FP as my port directly to house was on cooldown. Ended up in wrong Founders Pt neighborhoods, twice. Right-clicked in guild chat to a guildie’s house, arrived in the correct neighborhood at her house, flew to my house… vacant plot again.
ISSUE RESOLVED BUT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE:
I kept mulling over the situation for an hour. I remembered I’d only made one change related to housing just before this cluster@$%* started. I was in a tour instance and didn’t want people wasting their time going to my Horde house as it was unfinished so I ported to my Horde house and changed the interior to “Private”. This is when all this craziness started. After all the failed troubleshooting, I decided to go to the Horde house and change it back to “Everyone”. I then ported back to my Alliance house… and there it was in all its glory.
WTH, Blizzard?

So happy to hear the issue was resolved! I can only imagine what you were going through. You’re right, it doesn’t make sense, but glad you can see your house again.

Using the portal’s in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, as well as the return one from an Endeavor site, has been buggy for me. My guild has a Neighborhood, but my Alliance house is in a Public hood (guild is too low-activity for me to want to stay there biting nails hoping the Endeavor bar will be filled before time’s up).
What I’ve found is that using the SW/Org portal or the Endeavor-site portal always sends me to the Guild’s instance of Founder’s Point, despite that my house is NOT in the Guild hood (it’s in a Public hood). The only way for me to reliably get to that Public hood is to use the “Teleport to Plot” button on the Housing Dashboard, or (if that’s on cooldown) to right-click my friend’s bTag and teleport to his house in the same Public hood.
Issue: The SW and Org portals seem to always give precedence to sending you to a guild hood if the character clicking the portal is in a guild and that guild has a Neighborhood. It does not seem to care what hood your house is actually located in.
Suggested Fix: The preferred implementation would be for it to pop-up a choice of which house we want to go to, if we have a house, like an Engineering Wormhole gives a dialog box menu of choices you can go to. If you click the SW/Org portals and you don’t have a house, then it should send you to the guild hood (if you’re in a guild) or to a random Public hood (if you’re not in a guild).
I echo Gladrielle’s sentiments. I’m very glad you got your house back.
I was just posting about the UI in another thread. It’s very clunky.
You might want to post about this in the CS forum, just to get more eyes on it.
