/dump C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) is returning ‘quantity=3’ and ‘maxQuantity=3’. I have only had access to a total of 4 Fractured Spark of Fortunes on my Monk but it should be 5.
I opened a ticket for this when I only had 3 fractured sparks. A GM restored 1 of the 2, but told me I needed to report the bug to get the other one.
Please improve your customer service while you’re at it.
The GMs referenced this article on the ticket:
Missing Fractured Spark of Fortunes - Blizzard Support
it says " Due to a separate issue, handing in the quest A Sparkling Fortune could remove more than 1 Fractured Spark of Fortune from a character’s inventory. This issue was fixed on March 15 and can no longer occur. If you were affected by this issue, please contact us."
I really don’t understand why I am the one who has to do all the behind the scenes troubleshooting for you guys.

Experiencing the exact same thing, have also submitted a bug report and opened a ticket. I did get 2 fractured sparks sent to me, but to the wrong character. The fractured sparks were removed from my mail after I requested they be deleted and sent to my bugged character, but I did not receive them, and I’m still stuck at 3 fractured sparks on my bugged character.
My last GM response was just a copy-paste from the linked article that didn’t directly address my request to send the sparks to the correct character. So now I’m just waiting and hoping that I get a GM who can actually follow up.
At least they restored one. I’m still stuck at 1.5 Sparks.
im not a programmer so i cant say for certain but im like 80% sure that if you were affected by the intial 1 for two quest, you were also affected by “Characters who were able to obtain two extra sparks will not receive a spark on week 3, starting March 18. If you are in this situation, your Pinnacle Cache will not drop a spark this week and this is intended” I specifically remember not getting a spark from my pinnacle . In both sitituations where you used the exploit knowingly/unknowingly and you were affected by the initial extra removal bug your spark counter would be at two at the time of turning in A Sparkling Fortune they probably used too broad a hand

This seems to be the most reasonable explanation for this from what I can see. My character has not been eligible for the regular weekly spark since week 1. I can’t remember if it dropped for me week 2 and I just lost it because I knew I was waiting to craft a 2hander and wasn’t really keeping tabs on it.
It’d be really nice if we had access to a log for items like this in the same way it logs loot for guild members. It’d be much easier for us to help troubleshoot.
I can’t even get the GMs to acknowledge that I was missing two fractured sparks. They’re just telling me to do M+, raids, or delves.
I have been playing my pally to see the difference and he has 2.5 Sparks total after very little play time relative to my Monk.
One other thing I noticed is that two of my weekly quests that award pinnacle caches have been unavailable to my Monk this week and last week.
Gettinsum, I got the first spark after quite a bit of pushback. They were initially telling me to do weeklies and delves, M+, raids to get sparks.
I am in the same boat. I have 1 completed spark on my DK and I have not looted a single Fracture from any M+, Raid or the Weekly (Pinnacle Cache) for 2 weeks. GM’s are completely useless to help and just link articles on how to obtain them. They don’t even read that I am doing exactly what they link and still they are not dropping.
How did you get a GM to restore one? I’ve had two separate GMs tell me they can do nothing, and I’ve reported the bug twice.
I just had to keep bugging them. Some of the GMs will just tell you to do delves, M+, raids.
I just got a response from someone who seems to be pretty competent on the second fractured spark. It does sound like it’s a separate issue.
It sounds like not gonna be able to craft another item tomorrow like most others. I just don’t know why we can’t get any level of confirmation that they’ve at least acknowledged that there is an issue. Blizzard bent over backwards initially to make sure everything was “fair” when people got a half spark early, but it sounds like dealing with the fallout of their fix isn’t a priority for them.
Still dealing with this as well, GM also appeared to understand the problem but just asked me to post here?
So I just logged in after the reset.
The output of /dump C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132) is returning ‘quantity=4’ and ‘maxQuantity=4’
I haven’t done anything yet, and this is indicating I am already capped. This is broken and crafting is off the menu for me this season until it is fixed.
This absolutely needs to be fixed.
I completed my weekly quest and did not receive my fractured spark.
/dump C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(3132)
Returns quantity 3 MaxQuantity 4 but I already completed the quest so How do I get it now?
