Baine will eat the Jailer and there is nothing you can do about it.

Oribos is weakened. The Jailer and everyone else left to Zereth Mortis. Now there’s no one to stand in his way!

We’ll return afterwards to find Arbiter Baine is in charge! Ignoring him will be our last misteak. :cut_of_meat:

That would actually be the best thing that Baine ever did and there is no reason to stop him. Unfortunately he will probably just sit still.

He will do it if Anduin tells him so.

Baine doesn’t do much anyway, and even if he were still there, he likely still wouldn’t do much.

My character’s toenails are more valuable than Baine in the story.

lol I just realized

what if it was a sick joke from the onset

given the most “well known” Lakota leader and the basis for most western stereotypical depictions is Sitting Bull

SITTING Bull

ergo why he’s been flat out entirely removed from the story as of 9.1 Chapter 1, cuz someone realized another dev did it as a sick joke

It’s certainly possible. Someone realized they didn’t need even more bad press :wolf:

Well, they removed the Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl completely from the game, so removing Baine may be another “woke” change?

lol they didn’t remove him from the game tho

they just removed him from this entire expansion’s narrative post 9.1 Chp 1

why is up to speculation

Yes, I know. You’re thinking that him sitting there was joke about Sitting Bull, and that’s why they removed him. If that’s the case, it’s similar to the fruit bowl change.

No, Sylvanas will, or maybe Genn.

There was a time I would’ve thought this was being a bit paranoid But given there’s been devs at Blizzard guilty of cubicle crawls, setting up secret toilet cams and a Cosby suite “party” room to name a few, I have to admit you might be onto something there.

I’d love to see Baine eat the Jailer or become a Sunwalker for An’she; the latter would the one bright spot in a Yrel’s Holy Terror expansion.

They really had a tavern crawl in the game? What expansion was this? I guess a cubicle crawl in the Admiralty Office at Boralus would’ve been too unsubtle, even for them.

The Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl was a micro-holiday added in patch 7.1.5 in Legion. You went to an NPC in Dalaran, and traveled to many taverns around the game. This holiday was removed from the game completely, shortly after the lawsuit came out. It was one of, if not the first thing to be removed after the lawsuit. However, only now has Wowpedia said that it may have been removed in 9.1.

There was nothing sexual about it, but it was presumably made as a reference to cube crawling.

Unfortunately there really isn’t a lot someone like Bane can do in this sort of high octane cosmic shenanigans… he does not even have magic elf weapons like Varian did. Bane whacks people with a big stick. That’s sort of his only talent.
