Honestly, I am disappointed we never got to see what happened to the following characters that passed away before SL (if any of these did appear in the expansion please let me know):

And the most important one may I say… SAURFANG. What the heck happened to him!?? Where did he go?
Like, I wasn’t expecting complete new stories for ALL of them, but at the very least some sort of cameos. So many interesting stories that we could have enjoyed… and instead we had… random people like Kleia and Pelagos… At least Pelagos represented the trans community, so there’s that.
We only see the tiny front end of the Shadowlands where rarely, someone we recognize shows up. Everyone else winds up in the untold number of other afterlives the forge in Zerith Mortis pumps out. If you look outside the Arbiter’s chamber you’ll see the sky filled with all the travel gateways.
Personally, I’m glad they didn’t lean on parading old names through the expansion the way Warlords did.
If it was someone who died in the last few expansions, they’re probably a lost soul in the Maw anyway.
There really didn’t need to be anything. Especially in SL. Besides, they’d ruin him.
We have no idea if he even went to the Shadowlands. His explosion didn’t look much different than Varian’s. I’m honestly wondering if he’s just dust in the wind the same way. It’s a theory I have.
That Mary Sue doesn’t need to be seen again, imo. lol
This is my big one. I even have ideas for him for a storyline. Makes me sad they never addressed it.

Probably his own little realm of the afterlife. Don’t forget, that’s probably where a good majority are at, since there are infinite afterlives.
I’ve also been searching Revendreth for any signs Teron Gorefiend. No luck what so ever. I assume the development team forgotten about the very first Death Knight, I am still happy to adopt him as an OC.
