Just finished the quest A Bridge Too Far which was supposed to open the Path of Storms, a magical bridge across Kraken’s Reach, but it looks like something is not working fully. I see the visual of the bridge, and sometimes when I stop on it I get a short teleport that puts me on it, but taking even a single step drops me in the water.
If it helps, whatever trigger makes Brother Pike caution that “This span’s name is well-earned.” seems to work.
Just made it to the area/quest mentioned by OP. I’m on my DH and can confirm that the bridge is visually there, but not physically. There’s no footing. I fall right into the water.
I also confirm this bug. I have successfully crossed this bridge on multiple other characters without problems. I tried to cross this bridge today on my paladin and the only way I made it across was by swimming, bubbling, dying then rezzing on other side. It works, but not ideal.
This bug was also present when I did the quest involved. Even now, if I keep my camera set above the horizon and try to move forward on it, I walk on it for about a second before falling through into the water.

Still an issue. It’s sad that it’s been over a year and this bug still hasn’t been fixed.
It was fixed but it has apparently broken again.

Same problem. Bridge is visually there, but not physically. Kraken followed me on land and only relented after I died, no matter how far inland I ran
