Is anyone else missing BFA? maybe because I’m still reminiscing about the pre-covid world but I miss the time from 2018-early 2020. I had a lot of fun with BFA during that time even if the expansion was universally hated
Missing it? Not really. Just like how i enjoy Wrath the most back in 2007, but im not missing it.
BFA was fine and dandy. Better story line with the war campaign and better side characters than DF. But i like being in the present
I liked it, it wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t bad.
It gave us Dark Irons which was pretty sweet.
I don’t think BfA was bad but I did play a lot of it throughout SL as my primary leveling zones. Personally don’t miss it.
I certainly don’t miss the mostly underwhelming transmog, Azerite armor, and Magni (he’s the reason I got an addon to squelch pop up dialogue)
Nope lol
Yeah. My body’s ready for Classic BFA.
I liked that some of my favorite specs were easier to play optimally. RIP arcane 100 parses
you’re for the huge brains now
Azerite being tied with everything you equipped is what was the bad part of BFA for me. The necklace alone fine, but yeah everything else not so good. Other than that, I liked BFA. Liked Legion more though.
At the very end of corruption patch, playing a geared character was fun.
Problem was the ~6 weeks of non-gear related grinding that it took to get a character geared before you could start playing it that patch (which was the improved version).
I really liked the Horde story. The Alliance story was OK. Had to hold my nose while rescuing Jaina. She’s not all that popular with Blood Elves which was an issue even though I was using a human alt.
Not one bit
I wasn’t here for BfA when it was live. 2021 starter but because I remember levelling in it (remember Dinging 50 in Stormsong Valley) I’d like to try out BfA Classic one day. I imagine it would be cool to fight Jaina like it was live.
Yes. I truly loved the expansion. I had some of my best memories in BFA.
I’m not one to jump on bandwagons. I think independently about whether I like the expansion and the content it offers.
Nope. I suppose everyone misses something from WoW’s past…but for me BFA was Never gonna be one of those moments in WoW history. ![]()
No.
I liked BFA there was alot to do, i dont know how can people hate BFA and say yea i like DF when theres nothing to do in DF
OP - I am with you. I miss BfA, and agree there was a special ‘magic’ about it, probably having coincided with me having more time to play and enjoy the game back then. I’ve even suggested it should have been the base setting for a game revamp focusing on a dynamic world and a faction war narrative. I’m specifically addressing the beginning of BfA. I had a ton of fun with the open world, especially Zandalar, and the PvP.
Was BfA better than MoP, even Legion or the earlier expansions? Probably not overall… but it had some great ideas and atmospheres nonetheless. Anyhow, that’s just my opinion. I still occasionally level characters and hang out in the areas, Boralus also but esp. Dazaralor… The 10.2.5 racial lore… developments…, some of the Dragonflight world quest types (such as the world pvp, rock climbing, sailing etc) IMO would fit wonderfully within the BfA zones.
I liked warfronts and was very disappointed that the Mulgore warfront got cut. Sure they became a bit of an afk-fest after a while. But they were still fun regardless and allowed you to get heroic raid geared without ever stepping foot inside a raid. It was great.
Not even at all. I don’t miss much from the “war on flying” era of wow. The only good thing from WoD till the start of DF was the last half of Legion.
I miss legion/BfA world questing and emissaries.
