Hey, Palastorm! This should be a fairly easy fix. It could have been an update or moving over to a different install location that cause the icon to be missing. Could you try the following steps:

  1. Open the Blizzard Application and right click on the File Icon
  2. You should see a full list of games, then at the bottom Battle.net or Blizzard, right click on this and go to Properties.
  3. Under the Shortcut tab, click on Change Icon
  4. On the “Look for icons in this file,” Browse for the Blizzard Application location. By default, this should be under:
    %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Battle.net\Battle.net.exe
  5. Press Enter and you should see the Blizzard Icon from the list.
  6. Click OK, then Apply and OK again to save.

This helped.

Yes I uninstalled and reinstalled on a different drive yet for some reason it tried to pull that one icon from it’s old shortcut location. With the above help I deleted the old shortcut location and in doing that… it fixed itself.

Thank you!!

Yeah, it’s pretty common to happen after moving to a different drive and the shortcut icon tries to call the old install location. Glad to hear that helped, Palastorm, and thanks for keeping us updated on the issue!
