Was playing WoW Classic Era (Hardcore) and got disconnected. When I reconnected, my Audio tab in options was missing and I had to exit the game and log in again to access Audio options.

I had a similar issue where the audio options were missing from some of my characters, but not for others. Still trying to narrow down the steps to reproduce the issue, though.
I had this happen. when i logged out, i could change the audio at the character selection screen. When i logged back into my toon , the audio was missing. As in the actual audio option. I only had Graphics, Languages and Network under system. i had to restart the game to regain the ability to change audio in the game. I have not been able to reproduce the error.
For what it’s worth, my mobo uses Realtek.
Mine also uses Realtek.
My problem was that I’d just reinstalled the game, and was playing without it having fully installed everything. Surprisingly, this meant that the Audio menu did not appear in Options.
