Missile Battery is a little better now!

I knew it was off somehow but couldn’t put my finger on it, it seemed to be firing off earlier than expected, and I was right!

So basically the new 4-piece Tier (didn’t notice this change on the old 4-piece), will “count” the clearcast consumption when you use battery. Meaning you only have to consume clearcast 2 more times after you let it loose during a clearcast proc (which for most of us this is a no brainer). I’m happy…it’s not nearly the changes we asked for…but is a small step of improvement. So far WeakAura does not track with the change.

The old one worked like that already.

Hmm, I don’t think so, or I just didn’t notice. Or more likely I’m relying on the WeakAura to tell me what to do and it’s not working right.

no it definitely worked like that before

Yeah it’s always been 2. It’s 3 at the start of combat but after that 2 because it counts the last one as the first new one. If that makes sense.

I switched my weak aura to a different one and it is tracking better. I thought it was a new feature, but was really just an outdated add on. Oh well.

I made my own weakaura to track it last tier, and there was a little bit of jank between using the battery proc and when you consumed the next clearcasting. It would sit on the indicator that the battery was ready (without the glow effects) but then when you consumed the next clearcasting proc it would jump straight to two. Something about the icons used for the auras makes it a bit weird and I was too lazy to investigate, so it’s possible what you were using before was similar

Nice. I think I’ve developed a pattern now of only using missiles when clearcast is up (by habit), so that tracking when battery is ready has become a little less relevant because I’m not waiting on anything to throw it out. For me now it’s more about keeping the 2-piece up and making sure I get some cc procs before timer goes down.
