Missed Opportunities (So Far)

It was only on my unwanted second playthrough of the Revendreth campaign that I noticed Kael’Thas and Lady Vashj don’t so much as acknowledge eachother.

Now at that time they were both pretty occupied thwarting Kel’Thuzad’s villainy so it wasn’t really the time to catch up. But I think it was a missed opportunity to not at least include a post scene stay awhile and listen dialogue option.

It was the first time those two were on screen together since WC3. Would’ve been neat to have them remark upon their failed endeavors and markedly different fates.

Any other missed opportunities for character interactions or deeper lore dives you hope they’ll touch on in the next content patch?

This is an excellent point, and I hadn’t even thought of that - though I’ve only played Bastion. Another potentially missed opportunity is the acknowledgement of Darion when he appeared at Light’s Hope Chapel during it’s eponymous battle during the second scourge invasion. Basically, it would have been interesting to have him comment on the last time he appeared on Azeroth was then.

However, maybe more to come as we start learning more of the role Arthas will play here.
