This trinket that is dropped from Professor Putricide during the prepatch event does not work. I’ve spent 3 hours testing this trinket. There is no “Motes of Anger” count(buff) for the item.

I too on my Alliance Paladin have received this, and the effect has not triggered at all.

I just received this trinket. As I begun testing it, I also noticed it does not proc any Motes of Anger as it says accordingly. It seems it’s definitely not working as intended. Would highly appreciate a fix before the trinket becomes potentially obsolete once Shadowlands drops.

I sent in a bug ticket, I would suggest more people to do so if we want this fixed asap.

Can confirm this is not working on Paladin, DK, or Rogue. The effect is flagged in the database with “Class: Paladin,” which some WoWhead commenters surmised might be the cause of the issue, however the motes do not build on any of the three classes that have received the trinket.

Its clearly an oversight, but, nothing will happen :frowning: . The Miniscule Abomination in a Jar will not be fixed for the same reason the original ICC version was deactivated for the Cataclysm expansion release. The trinkets passive effect would have made it relevant to this day. Blizz avoids situations like the Vanilla trinkets being used during the Burning Crusade expansion.
