Why don’t my Raise Dead and apocalypse minions actually raise but they jump out? Is this new? I prefer them to actually raise out of the ground.
Yeah I hate the new animation.
Because the “crawling out of the ground” animation took forever, delaying the time between your ghouls being summoned and actually being able to do things.
Its so you dont have to wait 4 seconds for the animation to complete to the point where you can kill the target before your pet does anything.
Proof that the Wow community rides the short bus… Complained for years (rightfully so) about having to wait for the dumb pet to get out of the ground. They FINALLY fix it… and here comes Johnny Appleseed wanting the crap back…
Been saying that for years. No matter what Blizzard does its going to be met with complaints, usually by the same people.
I never asked for this & doesn’t make any sense for my minion to just jump straight out, but I get it you gotta cater to the serious raiders & M+, should definitely give us a glyph to switch it back.
They werent catering to raiders and M+ players. They were catering to people out in the world. Thats the only place where the animation matters.
Raiders and M+ will have their pets out and ready to go. Its you defeating enemies out in the world where when you are flying or something, you dismount and start attacking something, you will more often than not kill the thing prior to the pet even having a singular attack. This new animation gets your pet out asap for it to actually do something.
Well they should give me a glyph so I can have the old animation back. I like my minions to actually raise out of the ground like zombies are supposed to.
Yep, the new animation is a buff.
Except if you were in combat they leaped out of the ground immediately if you kept the Ghoul’s Leap ability on. It had no effect on gameplay.
Ive never seen a thread complaining about the old animation before.
Your blindness is not my issue. People constantly complained about questing with unholy because you’d be almost done fighting by the time the pet finished crawling out of the ground. Don’t be daft in some weird attempt to be edgy on the forums.
It been part of issue since they have to be re-summoned every interaction when you do quest or dismounting.
Incorrect. The old animation straight up stunned the ghoul for several seconds on being summoned.
And just because you never saw a thread doesn’t mean there weren’t LOTS of complaints.
All I am hearing is that this Pet is nothing but a constant nuisance, issue or a broken mechanic.
This pet is no different from a Buff. The fact someone complained “Why do I always have to summon my pet” Is hilarious. Worse is that someone at blizz tried to make it happen, with an automatic summon feature
I dont care what side of this conversation you’re on. Summons slow, animation is now silly. Whatever.
That fact the pets “Automatic” Summons only occurs when you dismount, or Hearh. and not when actual combat happens is laughable.
You start a fight. You enter a dungeon. You Buff up, you eat food, you drink a potion, you summon your Pet.
WHAT!!! I always have to summon this pet. This is ridiclous!!!

Maybe try again without all of the gibberish. You’re not making any sense. You don’t have to continually summon the pet.

old animation was a 4 sec self stun nothing leaped instantly and the new animation is literally a dmg buff and qol improvment dk community has been begging for years to get.
Who said anything about a dungeon? And, why, do you, talk, like this?
