I have 60 / 60 in Mining Fundamentals. Most times I stay mounted while mining but about 25% of mining dismounts me. What am I missing here? Why is this happening ? Cheers.
Most likely you are hovering when you click to mine. Sometimes you can even be grounded and the game still thinks you are hovering.
Best advice is when you are mining use a mount that has a clear and definitive animation for when it is grounded and take an extra second to make sure you are before clicking the node.
And rider’s barding mount equipment if that mob decide you are a very juicy lookin gnome!
I have been using the flying disc. Will try a winged mount. Thanks for the advice.
Sometimes its just how you land or position yourself, like if a surface is uneven. So there’s nothing broken, just the way it is. Still better, by far, than constantly dismounting.
This won’t account for 25%, but any nodes underwater will dismount you no matter what.
Probably because it’s impossible to “land” mounted underwater.
It takes an extra effort to land and walk when swimming unmounted, and it’s not always available, and it probably hasn’t been made available for mounts.
