If someone starts mining a vein you are mining they do not fail like they are supposed to which causes them to be able to steal one or more hits. Up until recently if you were the second one to hit the vein your swing would fail, now you both can loot the vein within a fraction of a second from each other. Does not appear to be a batching issue as you always lose out.
