this mining skill “Surveying” for “You have a chance to uncover an illimited diamond when mining rich ore deposits” is a 30 point talent and after 20+ rich ore deposits now mined i have yet to see even 1, this makes for an incredably regrettable 30 point investment for zero purpose or return.

Noticed the same thing, big regrets now. Saved up 25 points and was torn what to sink it into, seems i picked poorly

Same here; not sure the exact number of rich nodes but i have over 1000 ore since I picked up the talent and have seen nothing. I know why we can’t reset constantly but I’d like the opportunity to get those points into something useful.

still not a single diamond from when i reported this. Super stoked it cost 30 points for this talent, even if it got fixed by this point the amount of time waste / value of the gem itself is so low that this talent really isnt useful. I think a better solution would be to change it to something else like a chance to grant a trophy to turnin for rep or something.

Same. Probably mined 20-30 rich nodes since investing in the profession talent. Big bug that makes all the time and thought investment into this talent feel bad.

I received… One diamond. Seems it works, but is an abysmally low rate.
Same i got one diamond, thought i struck some super rare item. Checked AH, like 16 gold or something stupidly low
i have gotten a total of 2 diamonds since reporting this lol.
Have received no diamonds since talenting this even when using Perception Phials.

Just got this ability today and used it on about 100 rich nodes. Not a single diamond. If it isn’t too much trouble could blizz take a moment from licking Activision’s boots to tend to their game?
Just took this a couple days ago. I wish I would have read this first though. sad rate… I have seen nothing so far
