3 weeks of 2-3 hours of gameplay mining and can’t get to 300 mining. Nothing, to get thorium, it’s nearly impossible. This needs to be addressed, i don’t care how many people are on the server. You created these mega servers, so find a way to address the issue.

People have been posting about this since basically day 1 of Anni realms going up.
It’s not going to happen. They don’t care. We are 3rd class scum to them. None of our issues or problems matter whatsoever.
It’s so frustrating as it’s such an easy fix too. Would take a Jr Dev 3 hours to code, bug test, check, and implement.

Which dungeons? How many friends did you need, or are you able to solo?
It seems like you are trying to be helpful, so would you mind providing some additional details?
I’ve spent the last few hours not seeing a single thorium node in Silithus, Un’Goro, or Burning steeps. Meanwhile there appears to be dozen’s of miners in zone also stuck not being able to mine in Outland since we can’t get past 290.
They’re busy making housing stuff, didn’t you see the latest Twitch? They now consider the name world of Warcraft "offensive.

I pretty much had to smelt lvl my way up and now with tbc out, I have to wait till I can get myself enough gear to solo jump runs in dme since I can mine rich thorium.
Personally I found feralas a okayish place to get ore since not very many people are there. Unless I got lucky.
It’s easy to get thorium on horde, ally skill issues.
We can mine it right next to your base in blasted lands in that mine that you can’t mine in.

Why are you people even leveling mining you won’t make gold. You can’t play 24/7 like bots can.
Bots will tank ore prices in like 1 day.
You are so defeatist. I made enough gold to buy epic mount in the time I leveled to 60 with mining.

While leveling I saw like 40 total nodes and I was constantly hunting for them. Excluding copper, of course, because that is everywhere.

You are right. It wasnt just ore from nodes. It was everything white I looted during leveling.

i leveled mining on 2 characters 0-300 in within the 3 weeks of prepatch. there are multiple zones for each type of ore so you can pick and choose. you can also layer if you are having trouble finding nodes. yeah sometimes you wont find many nodes at all, but that’s the risk of gathering professions (mining/herbalism).

Considering I spent weeks layer hopping and going to different zones to search for this alleged ore, no, that is not true. It should not be like this. This is inexcusable and terrible gameplay.

Just go to north Azshara. I went from 275 to 300 in a few hours. There’s nobody else mining there, lots of rich thorium and u can do 1 run per layer getting around 4-5 rich nodes.

Nodes are not shared (nor were they then) in Vanilla.
