When I got rid of a UI addon, my minimap got a lot smaller, and I can’t figure out how to change it’s size or that of my chat box.
The chat box you can resize just by clicking & dragging the lower right corner of the window, but you have to unlock it first by right clicking on one of the chat window tabs & selecting Unlock Window.
I don’t think you can resize the minimap by itself except with an addon. Rescaling the UI (in the System/Advanced settings) will change the minimap size, but it changes the size of all the other UI items at the same time.

Thanks for the help! I guess I’ll just have to make do with a tiny map until the next patch or whenever they next change the UI.
If your map is abnormally small, you could do a full UI reset to try to return it to its normal size.

I don’t expect Blizz to change the default size of the minimap anytime soon. It’s not impossible, of course, but I don’t recall that as being something people have done much complaining about, so I don’t think they have a reason to change it.
If the map size is really a problem for you, there are addons that specifically address the minimap, like BasicMinimap. I haven’t used it personally, but it might let you resize the map without the complexity of a full UI replacement.

That’s the one I use as well, bit more full-featured than Basic Minimap.
