Minimap / Resource display problems

I am a miner, talking about mining nodes. This may or may not be an herb issue as well.

Farming ores, quite often the ore does not appear on the minimap although I can see the ore as I approach it. Sometimes it appears on the minimap just as I get close to it, but sometimes not all. i.e., I can mine the ore but it never did appear on the minimap. Sometimes both appear like they are supposed to. Most of the time tho, they seem really slow to appear whether minimap or visually.

Anyone else having this problem? Or is this “working as intended”?

I am running core i9, 48gb ram, gtx1080, and all video settings at max, usually I am at 100fps. occasionally dipping to high 80s for a few secs, but most of the time, yeah 100fps at max.

I’m not.

That said, disable all your addons and see if the problem persists or not. If it doesn’t, you probably have a flaky addon that needs updating causing a conflict.

Try a full and proper UI reset. Rename the folders so you can undo it if it does not help.

I had this problem but I had totally forgotten to click on “Find Minerals” icon in the General Spellbook.
In your case the ore is coming and going so it is probably a different problem.

This thread is two years old, FYI. I think he’s probably solved the problem by now. :wink:

He (thread-starter) may have solved the problem, but the info in this thread has immensely helped me, so I’m very glad it was still here.
