I have tried logging in and out this has been an issue on only one toon on the account for over a month now. My 120 Druid Zurraii on Ysera has no minimap arrows or outlines for quests or worlds. All of the other characters on the account still see those things. I thought maybe I had hit a setting somewhere but I can’t find anything that will turn this back on. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
When you say “a setting somewhere”, I’m going to assume you mean settings in the main menu.
The settings that control what’s shown on the minimap are controlled by a separate menu: the “Tracking” menu, which is the bubble “magnifying glass” icon on the top left edge of the minimap border. The relevant option you want in the list of filters is “Track Quest POIs” (Points of Interest). This toggle controls whether quest areas and objectives are highlighted in the minimap, and are set on a character-by-character basis, which is why it might be off on your druid but on for other alts.
If that option is actually set in the Tracking menu, you may have a slightly buggy situation that may need a couple of hokey-pokey fix actions (toggle it off then on; toggle it off, /reload, toggle it on; toggle it off, log out, log in, toggle it on; reset UI)
That last one is a bit extreme, since it’s resetting all UIs and addons for all characters. I’m hoping it’s just that the option you’re looking for is switched off on that toon.

Also try, since this is happening to one character:
- Run these commands in-game in chat to disable server side syncs then log out:
/console synchronizeConfig 0
/console synchronizeSettings 0- Delete your character folder:
World of Warcraft\_retail_\WTF\Account{Account ID}{Realm}{Character Name}- Log back in and the issue should be resolved. If so you can re-enable the server side syncs:
/console synchronizeConfig 1
/console synchronizeSettings 1Make sure to safely log out of the character after doing this. If the client disconnects or crashes, you’ll have to repeat the process.
