Minimalist UI addons?

I’m in the market for a sleek, efficient UI upgrade and I’m wondering what you folks here on GD like to use.

That’s all. Any recommendations?

Just learn to use bartender! It’s wonderful. Allows you to move pretty much everything, change the size, remove the silver dragons. Etc.

Sexymap is a nice add-on to change the appearance of your minimap.

This is my UI Dreta. It does what I need, but took a lot of personalizing to set up right.

I use Dominos and WeakAuras:

The WeakAuras addon can be daunting, but it’s the only way I can have simple Health/Mana bars that mimic the old Diablo Orbs.

The only UI addon I have is Plater Nameplates, it is mostly simple to configure and also you can just import a config you like (from a streamer/youtuber/friend/etc).
Just be careful because some other addons may change its config and mess up everything (Camel Spotter for example), so always keep a backup config if this happens.

I use TMW + Nameplate Cooldowns for simple tracking and weakauras for more complex cool downs. I also used to use a kick cool down addon when I used to play PvP.

I don’t really know what I’m doing with WA, I just import others’ scripts.

I use the default UI with the left and right bars ticked on. Very minimalist.

I used to use Dominos, Bagnon and Zperl religiously. They were great for a minimalist view and you can place/resize up to 10 (?) actionbars anywhere on screen.

I then found ElvUi and even though you can do the same, I like the fact you can assign more information at a glance. Durability, amount of gold, what spec you’re in etc.

Good luck on finding what works for you. There are some great suggestions here as well.

I just tried bartender, but had a few glitches with it. The worst being that I thought it would be good to show just one bag, but then decided to cancel that, so I unticked the box. Now, nothing I can do, even disabling bartender leaves only one bag. HELP!!!

Are you using Bagnon or something with it?

LiteBag is one of those megabag addons right? Have you disabled it and looked at your UI without it? It may have had a bad interaction with Bartender that messed up a script or something and it might do you good to reinstall it if a disable/reenable doesn’t help.

Here’s something to cheer you up in the meantime though!

LOL I disable LiteBag and I only have my backpack in its original size. No other bags will show up. Will remove the wtf.

Aye, it’s time to uninstall it and see if you’re able to access your other bags. Give it a clean reinstall if you really like the addon, or get Bagnon/Combuctor if you’re still having issues with it.
