Miniaturized Power Core mobs and droprate?

For the Ub3r spanner materials for engineering:

So I’ve killed Panthera in the Abandoned junkyard like 25 times with no drops, and Sabertron in Stormsong Valley like 15 times with one drop. Anyone confirm it drops from the guy in Tirsiguard Sound? Anyone seen better drop rates than me?

I got one core from my first killed on the cat in stormsong. Now I have killed both cats around 10 times each and the second core won’t drop

I think it was my first kill from the Sabertron in Stormsong too

I’ve been farming Sabertron for about an hour, zero drops.

Got one of the first sabertron kill. Panthera killed around 20 times and 10 or so further kills on sabertron with no drop on the second item

item dead on arrival? still no second drop.

Chiming in as another “Uncounted many kills of both cats, only drop seen was first Sabertron” person.

I figured it out! On my second toon, I made sure to not kill the Panthera when doing the earlier quest in the chain. I think you get a drop off of your first kill of the day for each of the two mobs. Since the Panthera always aggros when doing the earlier quest, most of us killed it before we had the recipe and could get drops. One my second toon, where I didn;t kill Panthera earlier, I got one item off the first kill of each mob! Hopefully we can get the second one tomorrow for those of us who killed it earlier.

Got 1 each from killing each 1 time. The dungeon materials drop on Normal and can be solo’d. Still wasn’t worth crafting. I’m almost ashamed to call myself an eng with an item like this.

Yep, got the one in SSV first kill, but since I’d killed the one in TGS while doing the earlier quest it refuses to drop. Killed each about 10 times now. This is crap.

And verified, got it off the first kill today.
