Shift+M opens the small zone map, but then it closes 5 seconds later.
Is this working as intended? If so, is there an option that allows it to stay open until I close it?

Bump, it’s been like this for nearly a week now. Still no word?
I ran into this bug and did the following to “reset” it:
WoW install folder > classic > WTF > Account > Server > Character > Saved Variables > Delete the Blizzard_BattlefieldMap.lua and .bak files > Restart WoW client
