Hello,
I think it would be great ( or fun ) to have a “mini-pet” that can “auto-loot” in open world just like the Torghast “auto-loot” option. Black Desert Online has it. Why not WoW?

Would definitely be a plus. One of the only things I liked about Torghast was that addition not to have to run around looting all the time
better yet… just like DIABLO!!!

We already have that…sorta. The mail catches anything we don’t loot, except for some specific quest items.
Roll a hunter. Go to the Hunter Lodge accessible through Floating Dalaran, get the Fetch command for your pet.
Solved.
That’s the best QOL I’ve ever gotten as a hunter.

Auto loot would be amazing. But knowing blizzard it would be at a cost.
It’s not automatic. You have to tell the pet to “Fetch” but I have it macro’d into my “I’m done attacking” button which sets my pet to defensive and does some other things.

And currencies, have you ever gotten Timewarped Badges in the mail from not looting dungeon bosses? And gray items.
Looter pets would be a dream feature for WoW. I loved them in Black Desert after they drastically reduced how monetized they were. Originally in BDO loot pets were very paywalled, but they added many many sources of them in game after a few years.
Just give me autoloot in general. Torghast shows that it’s already coded into the game. Even if i have to earn it, I want it

Bots would be rampant able to kill non stop while pets auto looted…no thanks. Making the already existing bots go to body and loot slows it down and basically screams “BOT”.
I would settle for a very expensive and even expansion exclusive loot a rang.
