i got mine from a nod but what nods idk

They’re a rare mining drop. I assume it will become much more plentiful as more people upgrade their mining knowledge.

You get imperfect ones from mining, rarely. Combine 5 to make a null stone.

the fragments also have a chance to drop from delve treasure room chests

Ty everyone

Yeah learning this was disappointing given that it’s required for some basic profession tools. Hopefully the drop rate is buffed or it’s removed as a requirement for basic items.

You get fragments from each ore type. Perception increases the chances of getting fragments. The first profession skill tree has a sub-tree for each of the three ore types. When you max one of the sub-trees instead of getting fragments you get a null stone - so 5 times the rate. Maximise bismuth first if you want to get more null stones because it is the most common ore.

i went with mining on mount first and doing the maximise bismuth now lol

has anyone noticed a marked drop in the rate of null stones, as soon as you get the final knowledge point in say bismuth or any other ore. No more fragments. But I have not seen a single null stone either. Perhaps it is bugged?
