Does anyone use this spell? I’ve had it since I first leveled my priest back in original Burning Crusade, and I cannot think of one time I’ve found it useful. I’d love to hear if anyone else has found a use for it. We always seem to keep it, and I never seem to cast it. If I’m missing something, please help me!
Just a fun flavour ability like farsight for Shaman. I’d argue farsight is more fun though!

I use it occasionally in BGs when guarding a flag. But yeah, it’s mostly just fun flavor - which I think there’s nothing wrong with having. Would there were more of it in the game!

Very useful in PvP.
/target “name” and see where they are hiding be it in a BG or in the world maybe they flying above or hiding behind a tree or something.
Or use it on a target be a pet or player at a node in a BG and count how many are defending it and report to team in order to build a strategy from that useful information.
Also useful in 5 man dungeons… at least old ones when you need to set up cc targets that are not in LOS and if you get too close it will aggro them.
So you Mind Vision them and then start setting up CC symbols for your group.
In world, you can use it on rare spawns or world bosses that are showing on mini map but you can’t see as they might be in caves beneath you.
It not always useful but it’s great for when you need it.
Just like Mind Soothe, love both of them for when I need them.

I love mind vision as a avid world pvper. BUT you could use it as a pver to scout out mobs/loot got you and your party.
For example: I’ve scouted out song flowers in Ashran, so guildmates who didn’t get any during wave 1 can go snag some.
Yeaaa same.
Though that’s no doubt because there’s no limitations on FS unlike MV lol
Well in one guild, who really doesn’t need it…they make it a REQUIREMENT for the priest to ‘fish’ for an AQ raid/ID that has the least amount of certain difficult trash–zee Mindslayers/tremble. The priest uses this spell for that. For this exploit, and yes, although many will say, ‘it’s a common practice’, it’s an exploit:)) I keep this spell next to mind control and levitate—in my spellbook and not on action bars:)))
