When casting mind flay, the cast bar shows 3 seconds of casting time, and counts down as if you had no haste in instanced content. Tested the Violet Hold and Scarlet Monastary: Graveyard.
If your cast time would be reduced to 2.7s due to a haste value, when the cast bar has 0.3s left, it abruptly ends.
Similar bug for arcane missles, completely ruining my rotation
I had this problem as spriest today too. It was not consistent though. Sometimes it would cancel mindflay after 1 tick sometimes after 2 ticks. It never once did 3 full ticks though,

Seems this is due to a recent change to try and fix the interaction between mind flay (arcane missles also? Not sure) amd snare reduction (“trollflay”)
Please roll this back until you fix the hotfix. The spec is basically unplayable at high levels.

I had the same issue running Naxx last night on my Spriest, it was so painful I wanted to drop after the first wing.

It’s maddening to play with this bug, especially when Hero/Bloodlust go out.
Confirmed happened to me and another priest last night in our naxx also. It was messing up our whole rotation

This is still broken, even with base Haste rating. Extremely frustrating to play with.
The only “solution” is to macro [nochanneling] into all your skills and play around not clipping casts, which is a really bad solution.
Please fix this. It affects all addons because the cast time of channeled skills is simply not being reported through the API as the haste-modified value.
