So…I can be MC’d for 7 seconds, once that falls off, I can be re MC’d almost immediately?

stun after sun after stun

How is this different from most forms of CC? Polymorph? Sap? Fear?

Yes, and the same thing applies to polys, saps, and fears.

And a MC isn’t a stun. It’s incredibly easy to break. The priest casting it can be kicked, stunned themselves, silenced, pushed back and the mind control will end. If the priest moves you too far away, it will break. The priest also loses control of their character while they’re busy with yours.

Mind control is completely fine, find something actually op to complain about.

I have a feeling the OP was complaining about a 1-1 encounter . I can see how annoying it would be if a priest MC’s you off a cliff. :joy:

It can also be purged off of you, and it’s fairly buggy–if you’re under the effects of a speed buff it has a high chance of disconnecting the priest.

My lower ilvl Horde Priest was ganked by a WW Monk in Naz.

Used MC and had him get aggro on a couple dozen mobs.

Then basically kept myself alive while they all chipped away and killed him :rofl:

Once in an arena, I MCed someone when they were at low hp, and then their healer killed them.

This is amazing! I do this in Temple of Kotmogu, I never thought the same trick would work in arenas though.

Of all the issues to have with MC…you choose it being spammable with DRs?
I would have picked

  1. MC made my traps affect my team
  2. I starfalled my friends thanks to MC
  3. They gave my Paladin an unintentional forbearance by BoPing them while they were MC’ed
  4. my Stormbolt whiffed because of MC making me friendly to that evil Priest
  5. Rooted by my own totem… /fist MC

I was messing around with MC the other day and it was cleansing bleeds too, is that intentional?

How about you kick it or use spell reflect or use stun or use fear (speaking warrior here) to interrupt it while you already did about 90% of the priests hp?

If a Warrior gets mind controlled in a 1v1 situation then he deserves to lose.
