There is currently an exploit that is going on with Mind Control where the priest will mind control someone and run them into a corner and force disconnect them. Addedly and funny enough the players who are doing this will instantly throw you on ignore so you can’t report them.

It happened to my buddy on Elysian Hold like 10 min ago. Irrelevant that should not be a thing and that needs to be addressed.

I would not doubt it is similar to the Fel Rush disconnect bug.
yeah both of these things have been happening for years. not an exploit, it’s a bug

I don’t think it’s intentional, nor requires a corner. I’ve been MC DC’d and DC’d people in BGs, arena, etc. without being near a corner. Just happens sometimes. Seems to happen most often when someone just popped something (like a feral just used dash or something and gets MC’d almost immediately).
You can mc a monks roll and dc them if you time it well :>.

Yeah, stuff like that just by chance is when I seem to notice it happening.
At least it’s not DCing the priest too anymore :^)

Can you post a picture of the map with a red circle around the corner that DCs you? Just so I know not to run there of course
it doesn’t necessarily occur whenever your next to objects but it does make it work more consistently.
if you want to replicate the bug, get into a wargame on ruins of lordaeron, have a monk roll into the middle pillar and cast MC as he’s rolling into the pillar. you should be able to replicate the bug within a few attempts.
i believe the game auto D/C’s the character because it think its falling through the map or going out of bounds in someway (similar to how if you fall through the map in the open world you’ll get D/C’d).
edit: this bug is hard to replicate in a real arena but it does occur more than it should. if you’ve played a bunch of games this szn, you’ve probably seen the bug at least once.
It’s a widely known bug.
MC just disconnect people occasionally. I don’t do it on purpose but I have to use MC.
This has been happening far more frequently since the beginning of Shadowlands, because this is a free-to-play game and the devs are really short on money. However, if you should like, you can spend money on the cash shop we have for this free to play experience

This just happened to me. Player that caused it is Mindgames-Kael’thas. Match occurred at 8:26PM EST March 5th.
I was mind controlled and priest ran me into the starting area until I DC’d.
