Weird how all the hype around SL was around the unpruning of all the classes and then magically Holy is the only spec to get repruned (for no reason), and not a peep from Blizzard.

Almost as if they only hold to their word if it’s the loud ones, and think the quiet ones won’t notice.
Holy is just terrible right now. It’s always been the worst in M+ but now it’s looking to not even be viable in Mythic Raids.
Viable and competitive are not the same thing. Every healer will be viable for all content. (except for cutting edge M+, but that’s the nature of endlessly scaling content)
But WoW is a multiplayer game, your performance affects others. Being viable doesn’t matter, it’s to be expected, Blizz would be failing horribly if they had a class not viable for their games content.
Holy isn’t competitive in anything outside Normal/Heroic Raiding. Normally this isn’t an issue since each new patch shifts the Meta and makes weaker classes stronger. The problem is that this hasn’t happened for 4 years…
Patch after patch, we are last place in most categories, then a new patch comes and nothing changes. Shadowlands was looking promising for a few weeks, then the re-pruning happened, and now we are seeing the nerfs come in. It also doesn’t help that every time Disc gets nerfed it affects Holy, but Holy nerfs rarely affect Disc, so Holy gets a double dip in the nerf pool.

To be fair, you need to compare current beta to BFA, not current beta to early beta.
Comparing BfA to current beta, we did get unpruned: Power Infusion, Mind Soothe, SW: P, SW:D, Circle of Healing Baseline, Prayer of Mending back to instant. Those are all spells Holy had access to at some point in the past, including PI.
It sucks not having Mind Blast and Mind Seer as they were a lot of fun. But let’s not make false claims. We were extremely unpruned, and while it makes the spec a lot more fun, it PALES in comparison to what other healers bring to the table in all content. And THAT’S the issue we need to be addressing.

Not having Mind Sear / Mind Blast won’t make or break things for me. I am going to be missing Seeds of Eonar though.
