These mounts and others seem to make no or very very quiet sound effects that I can hardly hear anymore. I’ve checked my sound settings and everything is on. They make the initial summon noise then nothing after that.
Pretty sure this change was intentionally made, unfortunately. Almost all mount passive sounds have been vastly reduced in volume over the course of Shadowlands and now Dragonflight patches. Same reason you can’t hear other people’s mountspecial sounds: It’s an effort to stop “unwanted noise spam” on other people’s clients.
It destroys immersion and is terrible, IMO.
