Mimiron's Head Help

so ive been running Ulduar all month for the Mimiron Head mount. I run it with 13 alts every week. not to mention the countless times ive run it over the years. ive had really high hopes with the current drop buff event that id finally get it but ive STILL yet to see it drop. im going a bit crazy. so i just wanted to run by everyone what i do to kind of double-triple-quadruple check that im doing everything right?

1) i fly in. (theres no difficulty mode or raid size anymore, so i dont bother changing anything)

2) ride the bike to flame leviathan and kill him (i dont bother with the towers)

3) ride straight to XT and kill it (i dont bother with ignis or razor)

4) run to kologarn and kill him (i dont bother with assembly or algalon)

5) run to hodir and kill him

6) run to thorim and kill him

7) kill auriaya walking around

8) run to kill freya

9) port to mimiron and kill him (i dont bother with the button)

10) port to the walkway, and i never ever ever talk to any of the 4 bosses standing around, since i dont want their help

11) run to vezax and kill him

12) run to yogg and kill him

is… i mean… thats it, right? am i doing anything wrong? missing something? been doing this for years and ive read all the guides, so mathematically, i feel like i shouldve seen it by now? ive either been doing it wrong this entire time, or my luck is astronomically bad (i dont know which one would make me feel better lol)

if anyone can confirm what im doing, that would be huge. thanks so much!

You’re right up to #11.

You should do the lockout save on an alt from that point on, not fully reclear it as it’s a huge waste of time.

It took me 20 tries on week 1 and 9 on week 2.

Dude, you’ve already won.

I have 2 old pitties, I’m typing kneeling down at my desk as my chair has been hijacked, wouldn’t change it for the world, also I have the dog cookies…so I’ll get my chair back soon enough.

I don’t generally bother with using the vehicles if that is what you mean by “ride the bike”.

Yea I would skip this and just use your regular mount.
Bonus points if you can stealth to drop threat on all the other trash too.

This happened to 2 of my friends.
One was headless horseman and the other was mythic sylvanas.

Both got them on their first ever runs. Me spending like 12+ years farming headless. And doing my weekly runs this xpac of sylvanas lol.

I totally understand the worry. I have felt the same after so many runs and the conditions. AND I got it this week. So, I can confirm that you doing it right.

It flipped me out that I’d set it to 25 and heroic and when I walked in, it changed to normal.

You can activate the towers but not go after them for the bonus loot. You also don’t need to ride the bike. Just stay on your mount and ride there. Then kill him without a vehicle. That’s what I do.

This is sadly the harsh reality.

I have a friend going through your exact problem while I got my mimiron head from the time walking ulduar weekly chest reward.

Same friend got Invincible that way. I got my invincible 7th run so, it’s just the cruel mistress rng.

As someone who isnt into a lot of mount farming I also got super paranoid with Ulduar and Firelands.

Both Ulduar and ICC were been nice to me (like 6 attempts each), but Firelands is two mounts that I’m 0 for 15 or so on.

If your asking for the guardians help before yogg the mount wont drop

You are doing everything correctly.

If any of your characters are either evoker or dh, you can save some time by utilizing a fun skip. After fighting the bridge guy you do an out-of-bounds jump that will lead you straight to the boss before yogg, skipping all the keeper fights.

These are exactly the steps I took (although I did push the button on Mimiron occasionally). After trying for years I began to question if I was accidentally somehow talking to a titan or something. The only way I new for sure was when running on a new alt and all the achievements popped for not having the titan’s help. Eventually the mount dropped for me early this year and I was finally able to say goodbye to that raid.

A) The bike allows you to get to the boss super quickly.
B) Once at the boss, if you get off the bike (you may need to get on and off a couple of times), all the mobs drop agro on you. Now you can just nuke the boss in peace, then just mount up and run to the next boss.
