I have been playing this game since it was released. I opened AQ gates on my lock and received ZERO loot and I was the ONLY warlock in my guild/raiding team and had to run across Azeroth to summon guildies. A guildie who said “ooops” when he “accidentally” looted the head in BWL that began the quest got the “Scarab Lord” title plus the bug mount. I had to take that with grin of salt.
I am an adult with my own business and I enjoy playing this game still. I don’t play it now as much as I used to (when I was hardcore player and played for 16 hours a day). I have a business to run and family. So I don’t farm as much. I don’t know how other players made their millions of gold. I don’t waste my gold on gear purchases or mounts like SW motorcycle that cost 100,000 g, yet I am only half way toward my mount’s 5 mill gold!
This announcement about mount being removed and being placed in BMAH is not a nice move by Blizzard! Pretty much they are saying “it sucks to be you!” if you didn’t buy it during an expansion, then you lose! I paid my monthly $16 (with tax) and I thought I had all time in the world till I read these posts!!! I hated when they removed original ZG mounts and replaced them with other mediocore mounts (the reason being?) … there was no reason for that. But for them to announce it shortly before expansion is a bad move if you ask me!! If I would not be able to buy that mount, I’ll just quit this game for life. No, no it’s not a threat, millions of peeps will be playing it. But I don’t think they care about their base subscribers and do whatever they want whenever they want and if something you’ve been looking toward of getting will be removed from the game, then I don’t care about the game! That mount is a great utility mount for me. Just my 2 cents…

I’m really annoyed and I can definitely understand the frustration.
I don’t have an income, but I’ve been playing around with gold-making for the past few weeks.
HOURS before they made this announcement, guess what I bought to test the waters?
The Lightforged Warframe.
My next goal was the Brutosaur; never thought they would remove it. I could have saved that gold. Looks like those plans are out the window.

I don’t hate the fact they made the Brutosaur limited time. Though I think with an investment as high as it is it shouldn’t have come weeks before 8.3 is about to drop.
That’s something that should know at, or shortly after launch.
Without buying tokens, you’re looking at easily over 100k a week if you were to try and grind it out from scratch, which is definitely possible, but a pretty tall order for anyone who doesn’t spam carry runs.

Seem strange that Blizzard is removing hamster wheel content from the game, they seem to love endless grinds. Maybe they want lots of people to purchase tokens.

All mounts starts at 20k, IF littlefoot starts at 20k too, you can buy it sub 5m. Why anyone would pay 10m if you can pay 5m in bfa?
Even if i had 5million gold, i wouldnt waste it all on a mount.
Ive never played the AH as if it was a real job so 5 million gold seems like an insane amount of gold for a mount, to me.
