This may be a silly question, but I was curious if the might of the Grizzlemaw appearance will make a comeback in shadowlands or the pre patch? I really want to roll a druid tank to experience the leveling in shadowlands, but it makes me a little sad I cant get and use such a cool appearance

Nope. Rolling back on the decision to remove mage tower appearances wouldn’t happen. Maybe down the road in the future, but I don’t think it has a chance in Shadowlands.
Now, does that mean new forms won’t come? No. I believe that with the new system of druid customization, new forms would be very easy to add, like the glyphs for travel form.

I sure do hope so little pandaren, i dont see enough of them ingame and it makes me sad to see that the mage tower appearances have mostly gone to waste.

It does seem a bit odd that there’s a druid form with a unique skeleton/animation rigging that isn’t used anywhere else in the game that can now only be utilized by a minority of druid players. Considering how often Blizz likes to reuse skeletons to save on time, effort, and money, it feels like a gigantic waste to keep this particular skeleton cordoned off.
I don’t expect them to roll back their decision to restrict the mage tower mogs to those who actually completed the mage tower when it was current, but I do expect them to release new skins/slightly altered models of the mage tower bear that can be obtained outside of the tower in the foreseeable future.

If it does come back, this is most likely way they’d do it, imo. They like their exclusive cosmetics, but a reskin using that same model doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility.

Alternate skins and looks could come back, but the Mage Tower skins and their tints should remain out of the game. They were exclusive to Legion and should be kept as advertised.
You may see more of the skin now that Druids can choose what bear form to use regardless of spec. I never saw them around because Guardians are rare; I imagine they’ll be a lot more common going into prepatch.

Id like blizz to release the numbers on how many people completed that mage tower. Instead of just telling us it was ‘successful’ i want the raw data on how many people cleared that sad excuse for a 'tanking" challenge.

I mean… I would settle for a lesser werebear without tattoos and a lesser neon cat without armor…
Actually I don’t really care about werebear I just want that neon cat to match with my neon bear because OCD.

It was easy on most classes, so probably quite a few completed it. I actually found I could manage it in terrible gear, once I could get a strat down.
I think the only truly hard one (for me) was Warrior, and that owes entirely to really having to plan where your heals are going to come from (though I had just better than fresh 110 gear and only had the freebie ring lego, so maybe in better gear that wasn’t such an issue).
However, I don’t see a lot of Guardians in general so… maybe that has something to do with it.

If you’re referring to the mage tower challenge guardian druid appearance, no it won’t be coming back.
Seems like Chromie my Homie should be able to hook a brother up, so you can get the Druid Gaurdian Grisslemaw skin if you’re new to WOW and weren’t even playing when Legion was live.

What about those of us who earned it back in Legion? I just logged in after a few years ago, can still see it unlocked, but my druid can’t seem to use it. How do I reactivate it?
Did you try to use it in the barbershop? That’s how it works now.
