Why is it so bad? Blade of Inquisition is several item levels lower and is 3x the dps upgrade.
Most KT weapons got huge buffs but MoM did not. Zirene said “because MoM is a PVP weapon” lmao WHAT since when? And then why are the other KT weapons not also “PVP weapons” Zirene?
I know why it was made so bad… because warrior is really the only class that would want it with the updates/changes to the other weapons so they intentionally left it bad.
Pro Tip: It will alleviate the pressure of all the 2h specs getting BoI if MoM was closer. Maybe add a swing proc chance like you did to hungering cold!
MoM is an enhance shaman weapon it was never meant for warriors or paladins. The sword is for us.

Looks like the Might of Menethil got a sweet buff, I wonder what the proc % is.
its decently high, i proc it a lot, but still leaves BoI a lot better. A % chance to proc an extra swing would have been more ideal for a KT weapon.
The new proc is pretty fun. Chance on hit for a 4 second stun. 360 AoE and a decent distance

Plenty of items are mediocre / crappy
this is not because kingsfall is bad
it is because some prior items have overpowered effects and the meta calls for using other items on classes that would want it
it got more of a buff than MoM did
BoI was always going to be 2H BiS over MoM. 250 strength for 15 seconds on proc? Thats tough to beat.
Guessing thats why they went the utility/PvP route with MoM
MoM really good for pvp. 4 second knockdown to ALL nearby enemies.

Still waiting to hear if MoM will proc the stun if a Druid is shapeshifted, usually they have to tune a weapon more for that.

a lot of weapons got big buffs
MoM didnt
even daggers were being slowed down by .3, which is a much higher percentage of their overall speed than MoM gaining .2… also many got other secondary stats that gave a lot of dps but MoM did not. MoM needed a +2% chance to proc an extra swing effect or something similar.

DR with your other stuns + arms and fury are both absolutely terrible for pvp and do no damage

Suprised you still play the game. Last time you were complaining about how its unplayable cause of no gdkp and having to work 10 jobs and hardly finding time to do ingame stuff
Obviously both are easily the best in the game for Warrior PvP right now but I think the Sword might be a little better for warrior for the speed boost, uber crusader proc, and the fact that sword spec > mace spec. I think the mace would probably be better for Paladins because its not like Ret Paladins need the sword proc to kill me in seconds now and MoM gives them another stun.
Honestly though I’d love to try out MoM for that proc because I played back in the day when the Unstoppable Force had that proc before it got nerfed into some BS 1 second stun and it was so much fun.

Yeah with the MoM buff I think they’re both good enough that I wouldn’t be bummed if I got 1 or the other. GL.
I think we do well in PVP. In terms of damage to others if you have sanguinist.
Edit: I do believe they should buff mortal strike damage.
using MoM in PVP doesnt make a difference. Sometimes it gives me 4 seconds to live but most classes one shot me so it doesnt make much difference
a ret today one shot me lol, Im using BiS PVE to test the damage. Bloothirst 380 MoM auto for 390 then I took 7200 in a single auto from him.
