Idk what someone can do in a situation like this. I wish companies would understand we are under a crisis and we need to come together right now. Firing people only hurts you in the long run too. But, business is business and I understand why they are firing. I just don’t agree with it in this point in time.

Honestly. Just about everyone is sol. And even if you are a part of the small percentage that isn’t. Life just isn’t the same if everyone else is sol.

Best of luck to you mate these are trying times and essentially everyone is going to end up losing their job. We are very lucky up here in canada that the govt is stepping in to provide funds but I worry this will only exacerbate the issue later on as the money we are being given will potentially run us a massive deficit and devalue our already failing currency. Who’s ready to make forts out of worthless cash.

Unfortunately companies can’t pay people they don’t need and stay in business. I may be in the same boat soon. That said, it’s going to be a rough time for everyone. Several local small businesses have already closed in my area.

Nope. I make well under the amount that makes me ineligible. I’ll get my check which will probably get spent on therapy so I can once again sleep at night once this nightmare is over.

The only thing im jealous of Canada is their health care, i live with an elderly people and he isn’t feeling well lately, looking at people’s tweet about their parents made me feel uneasy.

I live with my elderly parents and when I have to go out to pick up groceries and the like leaves me in a state of panic.
