Quel’thalas is the blood elf starter zone. It would be madness from Blizzard not to include the Blood elves here just so Alleria and her family can shine.
Why did you refuse to play blood elves? They are a pretty cool race. Just never understand the hate. Can’t wait for this expansion to be all about us
i only play rp servers because it feels gross to be surrounded by folks that don’t give their characters actual names.
a result of this is seeing that 90% of belf rpers are just slice of life “”“moonguardians.”“”
put me off of belves for a long time.
even now it’s got moments of difficulty.
As an aside, they almost never get lore so I mean.
Lor’themar made some major mistakes—two big ones being the exile of the High Elves and the Void Elves. Instead of trying to unify his people, he took the easy route and just cast them out. A stronger leader would’ve looked for ways to keep the elven factions together. Banning the Void Elves specifically from Quel’Danas could’ve been a more balanced move, rather than full exile. And the High Elves he pushed away? They could’ve actually strengthened Quel’Thalas, both politically and militarily.
The void elves would accept nothing less then leaving the Horde which is never gonna happen. Blizzard can’t just delete the most popular Horde race for a handful of whiners.
That’s actually not accurate. The Void Elves didn’t start out as anti-Horde — that came after Lor’themar exiled them. They were cast out, and it was Alleria, an Alliance figure, who stepped in and gave them a place. The exile pushed them toward the Alliance, it didn’t start there. So yeah, the conflict wasn’t inevitable — it was shaped by how Lor’themar handled the situation. He had other options, but he chose the fastest solution instead of the most strategic one.
They haven’t been exiled since TBC.
He invited them to return home.
Ah, yes.
Let’s support the power hungry guys that chose power over their people. That are, as Umbric himself admits, perpetually always on the brink of void enslavement, even with Alleria’s guidance.
No.
Alliance argument pattern usually goes like this:
Alliane fans: “Well we had a bad time back in Cataclysm 15 years ago so it is now totally fair and justified if the Horde gets 100% excluded from all story content until the servers shut down.”
He did make gestures toward reconciliation later, like allowing the High Elven pilgrims to visit (Quel’Delar - Questline)the Sunwell. I am missing the “Invitation”
Yeah that’s not even what I was saying lol. You’re just shifting the topic because there’s no solid counter to the actual points about Lor’themar, the exiles, and missed story potential. This isn’t about “Alliance good, Horde bad” — it’s about how the leadership choices impacted the elves and how it could’ve gone differently. If your only comeback is turning it into a faction war meme, then you’re kinda proving my point.
I mean he was 100% right to kick the void elves out.
Indeed. They are essentially eco terrorists and Sunwell becoming void proves it.
You say that, but every post you make is filled with nothing but hostility. Coping and seething seems to be your only setting.
Even while saying you’re not coping and you’re not seething, you manage to lash out angrily with every sentence.
Find love. You are too young for this much pointless anger.
Was it the right call?
Instead of figuring out how to handle void magic or at least keep it in check, he went straight for the banhammer.
If he’d taken a more balanced approach, like restricting access or keeping it regulated, maybe he could’ve kept the elven factions united.
They got told not to do their research as it ran the risk of damaging the well, and thus endangering their people, to continue their research shows they didn’t care for the safety of the people and only cared to find power, and in the end all they have to show for it now, is being walking dangers to sunwell, schizophrenia and a constant danger of letting some void creature wear them like a suit.
Everyone’s got their own opinion, and personal digs aren’t needed. Let’s keep it about the topic, not make it personal.
I get the concern about the risk to the Sunwell, but there’s a difference between caring about safety and just shutting down a group of people entirely.
A more careful approach, like monitoring and regulating their research, could’ve worked without cutting them off completely. Maybe?
Literally Alleria only standing next to it almost caused an invasion.
Well no there very connection to the well is the problem, Non thalassians wouldn’t have been an issue but they were, Its like practicing with deadly chemicals next to the local water supply, except no matter what you do the chemicals get in the water.
This is not correct.
The Monster Races are: Forsaken, Orcs, Trolls , Zandalari , Worgen, Mag’har Orcs , Tauren & HM Tauren.

Or should we add Vulpera on the list?
