        • Damaging attacks that expend Shadow Techniques to generate combo points have a 15% chance per stack expended to create a Shadow Clone that repeats the attack for 50% of normal damage as Shadow.
        • Shadow damage increased by 5%/10%. Shadow Clones have a 50%/100% chance to trigger Shadow Techniques’ effect.
        • After attacks that generate combo points, if 5 or more stacks of Shadow Techniques remain, your next damaging finishing move will expend them to generate combo points up to your max.
      • Shuriken Tornado now increases Shuriken Storm cost by 60% in addition to its previous effect.

Looks very promising so far.

i didnt realize sub rogues even used shuriken tornado with its short duration and long cool down. i’d rather have death throw back.

I don’t play Sub, but looking at Warcraftlogs/Archon, it seems like Tornado is a really unpopular talent.

That said, it is getting reworked in Midnight and looks a lot more interesting. It now causes Shuriken Storm to cast twice, with a short delay, letting you get off 2 spenders back to back. Along with now also increasing the energy cost of SS by 60%.

Came here to say what I’ve been saying everywhere else, griefers be damned.

apex talents are clearly designed to make dance spenders HURT, especially in AOE. This only true when played properly.

think about how good this would feel if my suggested changes to sec tech went into effect

  • Secret tech no cd, only usable in shadow dance.
  • Can only be used once per shadow dance.
  • 50% of all shadow damage done in shadow dance added to your secret technique

Talk about a BIG MOMMA hit, when done at 5+ stacks of ancient arts. This singular change would make this spec feel even more rewarding. Than it already does.

I have ideas on rework of black powder too to help with current rupture spreading and clunkiness.

Anyone else having issues using the last part of the Ancient Arts Apex talent?

Like are we supposed to play around this and stall a few shadow techniques to build up for it to trigger?

Because if I just play normally and spam my builders per usual, i rarely get this thing to proc. And if i wait, I pool too much energy and waste so many globals.
