With the current recent expansions focusing more on the alliance and zone overhauls, isn’t it time for the exodar to finally reflect its canonized repaired state as reflected in the Novels?
Feels like if there’s any time as any. It would be during midnight or the following expansion.

They are building a new city now. Exodar is no longer needed.

It’s basically going to be Shattrath but more modern AND on Azeroth.
Hope we get to see it in game someday

I honestly doubt they will do anything outside of silvermoon and the ghostlands

Inc burning of Shattrath 2.0 incoming
I actually almost made this exact topic the other day, so I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought of it as a possibility!
Since they announced that there will someday be an entirely new Draenei city instead of squatting in an old derelict Naaru spaceship (repaired or no), they would probably focus on that over the Exodar.
IIRC the new Draenei city from the heritage questline looks like a floating city of sorts, somewhat like Dalaran. I can see them parking it in the EK if the focus is around re-vamping Silvermoon city for Horde and having this new floating Draenei city for Alliance come Midnight.
The Draenei starting dialogue still says: The immortal prophet Velen believes that a great war between the Darkness and the Light is fast approaching and that Azeroth will be its principal battleground.
While I think this could be alluding to the prior battle against the Legion since this has been their introductory dialogue since Cataclysm, it could potentially be interpreted as the Draenei being involved in the some significant way against Xal’atath (and Dimensius?)
This is definitely ‘pie-in-the-sky, probably not going to happen I’m just hopeful in my waggly Draenei-loving heart’ territory, but it’d be cool nonetheless!

All of the functional parts of Exodar were salvaged to build Vindicar. The Exodar is a husk and slated to be replaced as per the draenei heritage quest.
It was also fixed in a Cataclysm-era short story. But a mob of Monty Python style human peasants (who were sheltering there for some reason) started a revolt when they warmed up the engines.
It was pretty dumb and I’m pretty sure scrapped in Legion.

With Eredar of all kinds. From Man’ari to Lightforged and everything in between. Now let them add blackjack and nightlife… for the Draenei in the streets and the Eredar in the sheets.

But it was also time to leave the broken ship and I’m excited to see where they want to build their city.
I’m also looking forward to seeing more Draenei stuff as I really enjoyed that in WoD. However, the next expansion will focus on elves, although four expansions before that only featured night elves…

I’ve always thought it was sad we cannot find some way to teleport Eredath into orbit above Azeroth. Its free real estate.

Even under the assumption the Exodar was fixed I dont think the draenei should fly that thing anywhere. The last time Velen had vision of it exploding or just flying somewhere never to return to Azeroth(possibly getting lost)
