You are assuming Xal is competent enough to do so and Alleria wont just ruin her plans in the long term.
Dont forget, before their confrontation in Karesh it was Xal screaming because Alleria broke her new toy.
Counter prediction:
Seeing as how they did him dirty in legion, midnight will be his redemption. WoW needs a powerful light wielding martial character. They need to show the players in game that his name is legendary for a reason.

Maybe, but ever since Fordring got fel dunked, I’ve been missing the archetypal D&D style oath of vengeance paladin full of righteous fury ready to divine smite everything to smithereens.
Considering the amount of water TWW treaded, she may get around to killing someone by the end of Last Titan.
She should just ask us to do it. We’re highly suggestible.
