Midnight Epic Edition Mounts

I just purchased Epic Edition and it comes with three mounts. Two of them (Lightwing Dragonhawk, and Voidlight Surger) are the EXACT SAME mounts. There’s no difference between the two. The Voidlight has an icon that looks like it can morph into a different looking mount, but I don’t know how toc hange the appearance. Anyone know?

like the charge and skyward

The skyriding ability that makes your mount charge forward doing a spin causes it to transform, which is a bit odd because in the video they use to show off the mounts they didn’t do the spin to change forms.

It changes without dragonriding, it just takes longer. Just got on the Voidlight surger, seems to change after a minute, I assume the dragonriding is just faster. But if you use steady flight, it will take longer.

Its like the chameleon shop mount. Itll shift between forms occasionally, but also uniquely when you do Whirling Surge.

Has any one tested the mounts unique animation? I just had a thought that it could be possible doing the animation command could trigger the transformation between the two forms as well.

So here’s some useless info on why we have three mounts:

Back when they released other color changing mounts, some people said they wished they had a choice. And then the Warden outfit released and it was color changing. People got more vocal about it and they eventually gave us two more outfits so that we could have the individual colors and the color changing.

They got smart this time and instead of just the one mount that we can’t control the color of, we got a choice.

which is good and it still counts as 3 mounts if you need the 500 mount achievement

Oh I’m definitely not upset about it. I’m glad they got smart and released all three versions at once without us having to beg for it.

There’s a light and then there’s a void. The third one when you hop up on it you’ll notice the picture is sliced in half. It actually transitions back-and-forth between the two on its own.
