I love the idea of returning to a (presumably friendlier) MgT to scrounge up ancient elf magics against the Void. I sincerely hope Grand Magister Rommath is our liaison in that dungeon and not its end boss.
Also sounds like our “elf alliance” is going to get rocky towards the end.

That sounds very interesting. I wonder if that means the Haranir zone is closer to Silvermoon than thought. It’s also reminiscent of the Everbloom.

A couple dungeon preview images I found interesting:

A boss in Windrunner Spire but I don’t recognize them, probably an ancestor?

This one seems the most interesting. What “tensions” could this mean?
I believe the tensions here are between whatever Void-based allies we find in the Voidstorm against Xal’atath and people like the Arathi who follow the Xe’ra mantra of “The Light does not treat with the Void”.

I feel like we’ll be working with the Arathi Empire, but they’ll have extreme methods which go against the others morals. Somehow something they do in that dungeon will cause an argument, and after we defeat the Void in the first half of the xpac we’ll go against the Light in the second.
probably tensions with those who use the void and those who use the light, the void zone is also the zone where the main story is between alliera and turalyon
Possibly or maybe it will tension between the Horde and Alliance maybe even with Alleria. We will see.
I wonder if Dawnwell is just whatever AI or underpaid worker they got to write these descriptions getting the name of the Sunwell wrong?
It’s related to the Harrondar or whatever the Haranir zone is so doubt it’s the Sunwell.
Curious, indeed.
Sounds like Harandar is deep underneath Quelthalas, and the Sunwell might have a tiny leak that created a Dawnwell or something below?
Also, I googled the name, and apparently Harondar is a place in LotR, that means “South Gondor” - not that there seems to be a connection. Just similar spelling.

I assume this is Alleria throwing in another hissy fit that quel’thalas refuses to join the alliance.

Yeah that is certainly twilights hammer. They have elementium on them or at least what appears to be elementium as we saw it in Cata.
Given what is buried under Zul’Aman, no surprise that an Old God cult is in the area.

Plus while a relatively tiny and out-of-the-way point of reference at the time, we’ve known via the Twilight ogres who posed as black dragons trying to control the Worldbreaker cult in DF that the Twilight’s Hammer has still been active in the world. It stands to reason that they’d flock to something like the events taking place in Midnight.

Elves are notoriously fickle creatures. The only thing elves seem to have in common is the animosity an elf has towards another elf for a perceived slight no matter how minute!
Elven Brothers And Sisters Are Natural Enemies. Like Kaldorei and Sin’dorei. Ren’dorei, Quel’dorei And Sin’dorei. Or Sin’dorei And Shal’dorei. Or Elves And other Elves. Damn Elves They Ruined Quel’thelas!

It would be funny though if it turned out the Haranir also had their own magical bathtub. For all that people joked that they’re troll elves it would probably be the first really elfy thing about them besides the men’s appearance.
Reminds me of that Kirin Tor gossip back in Legion. Feels like they milked an entire expansion out of it.

Now you’ve made an enemy for life!
On a serious note, they weren’t wrong! The elves are notoriously exhausting especially if you have two elves who have 99% of everything in common except maybe one or two differences, and those small difference? Well that’s enough for a blood feud for a thousand years!
Gossip of the Kirin Tor Peacekeepers:
Vereesa almost shot at Rommath this morning. Khadgar had to talk her down... again.
The elves keep pulling pranks on each other. We are just trying to make sure things don't turn to violence.
Tensions between the Horde and Alliance are tight enough when they share a battlefield. But the elves? You can practically cut this tension with a knife.
Suramar is a city filled with so much magic it will be a true challenge to invade it. I just hope we can keep these armies together until we are successful.
Conflict between the armies will not be tolerated. We are here to make sure everyone stays on target.
Kaldorei, Sin'dorei, Quel'dorei, and Shal'dorei? More like Don'torei. Am I right?
Khadgar put out the call to anyone willing to send troops to support this army. So who comes?
Blood elves and night elves. The two races so at odds with each other it makes the feud between the Alliance and Horde seem almost paltry.
So far the Suramar army has been hesitant to stretch out from their walls. I hope that doesn't mean they are planning something.

Prince Kael’thas: Ishnu-alah, night elves. I am Prince Kael’thas. I must admit, I’m surprised to see your kind there. But, whatever your business, I fear you will find only death and shadow in this cursed land.
Maiev Shadowsong: Ishnu-dal-dieb, Kael’thas. I am Maiev Shadowsong, and this is Tyrande Whisperwind. We are hunting a powerful demon that arrived here recently.
Prince Kael’thas: Curious. I don’t know about any demon, but something’s riled the undead based at Dalaran. They’ve been hounding us day and night. We were about to abandon this post and seek refuge on the other side of the River Arevass.
Tyrande Whisperwind: Hmmm. Then we shall lend you our aid, young Kael
Very blood, much feud, so rivalry, wow.
The only feud to be had here is with how shoehorned the faction system is in that particular instance. Hell, the night elves in TFT have a longer and friendlier teamup sequence with the blood elves than with Jaina’s Kalimdor alliance.
(And if anyone wants to bring up Maiev in CotBE she’s literally in exile at that point)
