Short and Sweet: Dracthyr need one more tank class to feel as rounded as the other races. I would prefer DK but with the arguments of lore, being the only reason against. “eh, let me have some fun.” That being said I would enjoy if MK or DH were also on the table just for fun.
Below are my thoughts, outside of lore of the general feel of the class and potential issues I can initially guess.
DK: Would see the great boost of the movement upgrade from the racials movments but would cause a lot of issues on the PvP side of the house. Overall, it could be a performance boost outside of plain DPS (hehe big numbers go brr) with Dracthyr’s racials.
DH: Would be fun but a race that transforms more than 3 times would cause some seriously funny visual bugs. The mobility is already a DH strength so over all the races would not see too much of a difference in overall performance but would be missing the racial dps boost like other classes.
MK: EH like DH not really a change. Probably the most viable and easy to put in but would it be fun??? i dont think so outside of the already weighted classes.
PD: To be fair like DK would see an overall performance increase outside of the DPS meta. Paladins are not my flavor in retail…classic yes but not retail.
