Midnight death prediction

So as we all know Blizzard just enjoy to kill Horde leaders for no good reasons. So I assume the blood elves won’t be spared either since the Dev Team is set of making Alleria Queen of Quel’thalas and Umbric her right hand man. For that to happen Lor’themar needs to abdicate and those with current titles to be killed.

So I believe those that get the axe out are:

  • Liadrin
  • Rommath
  • Tae’thelan

Halduron is save of course since Vereesa needs a new love interest and he was never ire or mean to her.

So a few elves remain to make the Void Elf supremacy full so what do you think who else will be gone by the time the big elf expansion is over?

Anduin will become your king.
but you don’t vote for kings…

What??? Not topic related.

They want to unify the elves, or so they claim, so we’re going to end up with a council of Alleria (Void), Lor’themar (Blood), Thalyssra (Nightbourne), and Tyrande (Night).

Vereesa (High) might end up on there as well, but IDK.

As far as deaths, I’d say Umbric is doomed. Probably end up going mad and joining Xal, and end up a raid boss.

Then whenever Hordies cry about Blizzard killing their leaders, Alliance can point out how Blizzard killed one of their leaders too, so we’re even.

We would be even If you lost 90% of your leaders.

Yeah, but that’s not going to happen.

And what do you mean by “you”.

I have 2 mains; Night elf druid and Blood elf mage. 6 alts at 80, 3 alli and 3 horde.

I’m as much Horde as I am Alliance.

Lor’themar will die. He’s the closest thing the horde has to a strong male leader, so he’s doomed. He will be replaced by strong woman Liadrin. And everyone will talk endlessly about how great she is, thus continuing the “writing” that WoW has displayed over the past couple of expansions.

I can see it now; Umbric will become the Camp Taurajo moment for Alliance.

Malfurion is going to come back for 5 seconds, just so he can watch tyrande die and go back to the shadowlands where she becomes a loa (not immediately but she’ll become maman brigitte relative to bwonsamdi)
Setting up Night elves for shamanism by the end of last titan.

I doubt anduin will get killed off, I could see alleria dieing which sets up turalyon for super saiyan light army with titan.

Following the trend, throw in a third female, make it Taelia, gives a reason for bolvar to start creating new death knights, which also sets up a red herring with the shadowlands possibly making a connection in titan (which it wont, but putting tyrande and taelia in the shadowlands will make people believe its set up for the primus whereas alleria and the army of the light/turalyon being the actual direction).

:dracthyr_nod: Pretty sure they’re going to kill:

Halduron Brightwing. :broken_heart: :pensive: :violin:

Blizzard can’t have a MALE elf who holds the ‘Ranger-General-of-Quel-Thalas’ status, because that would be TRUE equality — and you’d make Blizzard shudder, puke and cry all at the same time if we had that!

They gotta slash him out and insert one of the ALLIANCE characters in, such as:

  • Alleria Windrunner
  • or Vereesa Windrunner

Because as we know, Horde characters are subhuman trash for the narrative — We need to have ALLIANCE heroes take the spotlight! Naturally, duh!

Blizzard agree with me  That’s why we’re going to see mostly Alliance heroes have the overwhelming majority of significant moments in this expansion and the rest of the World-Soul-Saga — whilst we breadcrumb sidekick flicks & minor components to the Horde.

The Horde can do NOTHING about it – and if you’re Horde? … Sorry to say, but Blizzard don’t care about you. You’re nothing to them, save-except perhaps stepping stones for the Alliance to step on your face and rise to their utmost greatest potential

Lor’themar will die and Alleria will become the new queen of the elves. Because what we really need is more alliance sympathetic leaders of horde races.

Also Lor’themar is now the longest standing horde leader. So he has to die.

We know that.

No, no. I’m not having that. I’ve been waiting 18 years for him to have a key role in the story. They gave him a unique look even without a fully custom model. By doing so they told us he’d be important.

Disagree. I have been predicting for some time that Halduron will get the axe. Because I think when all is said and done, Vereesa will be Ranger-General of Silvermoon.

no they’ll kill off alleria watch. blizzard loves killing off things completely.
dragon aspects,(only alexstrasza kalecgos are left of the originals.) and one attempt has already been made to kill alexstrasza already by the dks in legion.
kings. (lothar,varian,arthas father,)
sure theres more i can think of:
orcs:blackhand,doomhammer,garrosh,grom.

Nah, I think Umbric will become a boss fight.

i do hope they kill off greymane though, that guy is so unbearably stupid. shouldve been done away with in the rebellion.

just let him die of old age. he’s suffered enough. he’s nearing his 80’s by now i think. was already late 30’s mid 40’s when wc2 began. (his age wasnt explicitly stated in wc2.)

Greymane had one moment of awesome when he stole Helya’s lantern from Sylvanas and destroyed it.

And then the god-like entity she was JUST trying to enslave floated away instead of annihilating Sylvanas because reasons. And Sylvanas didn’t suffer at all for having lost the lantern because reasons. So that moment of awesome amounted to nothing more than a trifling inconvenience.

Clown writing.

It amuses me that even after killing lore characters and torching player cities for no reason, blizzard STILL can’t make the story compelling.
