I like Shadowfiend, but I don’t like it as a separate button.
I hope they can bake it as a proc whenever you use Voidform.

Looks like this weeks notes just dropped.
There seems to be nothing at all for shadow this week.
Nothing for priests as usual
where are the patch notes? i don’t see any yet :o

hmm i think its done. they only care about the priest healing specs and its not like they put ting much effort on them as well imo.
this spec is left for dead.
Id say ether go devour DH or aff warlock. They are getting a lot of attention.
Aff warlock looks promising, i might just go that.

I never expect anything, yet I’m always let down.
At this point, we’ve got nothing but changes they think we want.
We’re vocal about the issues we see, yet they give us nothing — no information about what they want the spec to be, no confirmation on the problems we point out.
It’s getting so tiresome to even try giving feedback anymore. Anything at all.
They seem to acknowledge nothing…
at this point, this spec will only get proper attention when its underused by the community.
But i don’t see that happening.
They just gonna fix numbers and people will accept the design and be wow thsi is amazing.

Crazy that our tier set is literally talents we already have.

This is embarrassing, I want to find the delves on LinkedIn and hex them.
Yea, I mean S1 tier-sets are usually just DMG increase on some specific spells.
But HOW have they done and released Shadows tier-set when the spec is in shambles.
Talents thats just there, spells that should’ve been pruned a long time ago.
A rotation thats just plain horrible to play.
Yet they focused on fixing the tier-set.
Its just a joke at this point.
They have no idea what to do with the spec, they have done the tier set, don’t knowing what is the direction the spec should have. This only shows they won’t gonna work on the spec, they gonna give their attention to DH, DK, mages and druid as always and what we have in the alpha now is that we gonna have in Midnight release…
May N’zoth have mercy with those who bought the expansion and think to play shadow…

Then again id love for them to actually make more with apparations.
More than just passive damage that floats too your target.
I LOVE apparitions, but the recent nerf involving their proc rates feels so so bad, especially without a massive buff in damage to them baseline.
I want apparitions to refresh dots, I want proc’ing them to feel like a punch to the face to the enemy.

Yea, They suck with the current iteration of shadow.
They would need to rework it to make it intersting. But it looks rough on that one to say the least. Not a single comment on what they want the spec to do/be.
No comment on anything that goes on or any of the pain points,
Man it really sucks seeing the spec in such a bad spot for so long, and nothing is done/said about it.
lets not forget we have a how row span, plus apex talents, just to make apparitions work.
The tree is a joke.
Haven’t preordered yet and if this stay as it is well guess I’m done w wow.

I mean, all tier sets are just % increase dmg on X ability or proc.
Shadow apparitions are a big part of shadow’s kit so I’m not surprised about it.
I’ve seen some of the datamined set bonus and they all are like that, so it’s not a shadow priest thing.
If it’s not Shadow apparitions what would they buff? vampiric touch?

Shadow priest one to two lines.
its not about buffing or nerfing.
Its about reworking/redesigning like the other classes did.
There is no world or way that we need soo many talents just to make shadow apperitions do something. And the worst part, we still have to get another talent to just passively unlock the ability lol.
you can buff and nerf anything.
THe point is properly designing the class and have talents that are actually meaningful and impactful, not just decoration to fill a space because of lazyness.
