I’d rather have Skibbles. By the time Midnight rolls out, Skibbles will have completed Candlelighter training.
But it’s Quel’thalas! We have several female blood elf archeologist NPCs, some from years back, some new ones. I also mainly don’t want funny or shrill voices yelling the same few voice lines over and over at me. Just some nice, soft voice. I don’t think any kobbold fits the bill for this.
I hope brann gets replaced too, but with a hot troll archeologist, also with glasses. Besides whats the point of an elf archeologist, there are no lost civilizations to them, it’s more like cleaning an attic with a bunch of “I remember those guys”
The reliquary is one of the main 2 archeological societies. The elves would be less about learning something through the artifacts and more about preserving irreplaceable artifacts. The reason why a BE is mainly cause it’s the home turf. And we have a number of existinc NPCs for it like Cymre Brightblade or the new girl from TWW questing.

Also, I don’t see how some 6000-yr old Thalassian librarian is going to help us defeat creatures hoarding the treasure.
I hope we get Sylvanas as the Delve companion for Midnight.
The main motivation for making this post is the fact Bran yells at you a lot. I don’t think Skibbles would be an improvement in this area. I just want whoever yells at me to have a more melodious voice. He could be at the start and end of the delve!
Doubling down on Brann for season 2 was definitely a miss. I was looking forward to having Gazlowe or literally anyone else as an option, at least having a goblin with all the goblin-themed curios would have made the most sense. Here’s hoping they do start giving us options.

Ok but then when we’re doing delves in the dwarf zones it’s going to be an elf companion.
Earthen aren’t Dwarves. Thankfully we don’t have to deal with that annoying speech pattern in Delves.
They pretty much are. Dwarves do archeology in big part because they wanted to learn more about the earthen. Dwarves dig up titan artifacts, BEs dig up elven (including night elven if from before the sundering) elven artifacts.
That’s like saying Blood Elves are Night Elves.
They didn’t in DF.
I don’t want to be inundated with Belfs. So I will not advocate for a Belf.

Could be a nightborne. They seem to have joined the reliquary. Since NEs don’t count presumably NBs don’t either.
Also NEs atually look and act diferent to BEs. Dwarves and earthen use the same model baring the textures and they do and enjoy the same things. They build the same type of building and fight the same way and use almost the same flying mounts.
I’m all for a new sidekick but dear god please no not this.

Idk it’s pretty simple to turn the sound off when doing a Delve,just like anything else.
Brann’s warnings are occasionally useful. And I prefer to be immersed in the world if possible.
