Bro you’re mind is so warped let me make it easy for you to understand. Blizzards transmog shop item isn’t hurting anybody. If you don’t like or support it then dont buy it. What other people do with their money doesn’t concern you. If blizzard goes down the pay to win route then play another game. Simple as that. A new mmorpg pops up every year.

It’s always hilarious to me that people who don’t know how to make gold assume that everyone who has it just spent years farming mission tables for it. But you know what, I don’t give a damn about spending fake money on fake stuff that gives no player power.

Why would I come whine to you? I asked you to come whine to me when the time is right. I also didn’t purchase the wings as I got them for free while giving the big evil greedy company less money overall by paying for 6 month subs.
I think my old grandmarshal gear looks good, I’d love to see it updated, but if I can rock a pixelated potato looking set for years and years, then I’d wager whatever they’re offering in the shop won’t matter much to me.
You also cannot reopen a box that’s been open for a very long time now.

Nah, I don’t even post that often, but it was funny to see a post describing the downfall of a game that never was that popular and doesn’t mirror what’s happened with WoW at all and I figured I might as well post about how silly it is to freak out about something that’s been in for most of the game’s existence somewhere…
FF14 offers a lot more than WoW with their shop and it’s certainly not hurting their business.
Why do people think that complaining about it on the forums is going to do anything? It’s been 10 years since the first store mount and the shop has only grown. But please, do go on with the whole, “sky is falling” crap.

Well is it an insane number? Or is it 6? Or do you think 6 is an insane number? I mean if insanity is trying the same thing and expecting different results, than the only insane thing I see here is the person acting like cosmetic transactions will be the downfall of WoW (no totally this time) after a decade of cosmetic transactions.

If you look at sub numbers, when they introduced store mounts the game started to crumble. Yes RuneScape wasn’t as massive but it doesn’t take a genius on how going from 300k players to an active 10k is a big downfall.

Why would any of us defend them?
Their dev team has done a stellar job ruining quite a few specs and did so well we’re now in development hell waiting due to delays from their glorious systemlands. They also take little to no feedback and you end up with specs like holy paladin.
Just because we don’t make mountains out of mole hills, doesn’t mean the gaming company we pay money to can do no wrong. They do it plenty and at an alarming regularity.
Things look only one way when you sit upon an ivory tower, but once you come down from it and stand around the rest of us on the ground you find that things look different from a perspective with multiple views instead of simply looking down.
