This deal just got a lot worse
In other words: should Blizzard games be on the game pass, Ubisoft will decide if WoW or any other game will be acceptable for game pass

Not entirely true. Cloud gaming is streaming games instead of downloading them, much like how you would stream a movie or show on Netflix. Microsoft will still control which games you can download and play the traditional way.
Only outside of the EU.
I find it weird that this stuff interests any of you.
And this license circle jerk the UK is demanding will cost players the same or less to play?
This is getting down to splitting the scales off a stand of hair.
like Vhx said only for the eu players not in the us
They need to combat the other end of the spectrum. Draconian anti-competitive practices need to be more harshly dealt with so that it’s a losing strategy.
Literally who cares. If you think this microsoft deal will impact wow at all you’re just dumb. What company can have more negative repercussions on this game than Activision??
Ea
I can’t think of a company who can more competently, almost artfully, ruin a game as effectively as EA.
Uh
A little clarification please @Blizz
Did we just evaporate in a merger
Why do players think WoW will end up on Game Pass anyway?
Wishful thinking.
Probably just…
Beat me to it.
I don’t think Microsoft has given a list of specific games that will or won’t be on Game Pass. Personally, while I think it would be pretty cool if my WOW sub could be rolled into my Game Pass sub… I doubt it’ll happen.
Next thing you know, Ubisoft is going to subcontract out to Daybreak Games.
Game pass =/= cloud gaming ?
And it’s only for a market of people that’ll probably have no huge impact. But most likely necessary in order to sway UK to go along with the deal.
They were bought a couple of years ago by a euro investment firm from the then Russian owner, who claimed not to own it when asked by the media. Many suspected that laundering was in play prior to the sale.
I worked for EA.
Can confirm.
Ubisoft or Daybreak?
