I just use Ad blocker plus and ghostery in chrome, both are free. I never see adds on wowhead.
Reading the title of this thread just makes me think of Clippy popping up asking if you need help with a quest, and that would replace the entire Wowhead homepage. Like those virtual chat bots companies use for online customer service before they connect you to a real person.
I’ve taught myself I’m not a hundred percent accurate with it, most data gatherers and ads actually have that in the name

Yeah names with cdn in them you usually want to unblock, and static, .io, but some aren’t exactly clear like Wowheads
You need those last two or else you get this
It’s not difficult to learn, you can just go through each one and toggle it and see if the website works 
I don’t think most people will want to deal with that though.
I usually have to let Statics in for embedded videos.
I taught Myself by blocking everything and working my way backwards by trial and error

Yep, same here lol. I’ve been using NoScript since about the time it came out in 2005. It’s a great extension and I’ll never browse without it
