Microsoft is investing a lot of money to acquire digital asset pretty much everywhere: they abandoned hardware related venture a few years ago.

Not like they can do too much to ruin it, discord already is crap it’s just that everyone uses it.

Discord already kind of sucks, this will make it from “meh” to horrific if the history of things Microsoft buy’s is anything to go buy.

Discord’s main advantage is that it is too convoluted for old farts, so there are fewer culturally-challenged boomers and old X’ers on it. Microsoft will probably make it easier to use which will eliminate that advantage.
