There was a huge hubbub in the dev community, but I’ve noticed no real changes in Github.
If it’s true, not surprised. Discord is putting any thing Microsoft has where P2P communication is concerned, right into the dumpster.
When was the last time you used a Microsoft product for messaging or VoiP?
They’ve pretty much left GitHub alone, as well as LinkedIn and Minecraft. They’ve mostly let acquisitions just operate as is lately.

I imagine that’s because discord is more than just voice. I’m on discord every single day but I never talk in voice, I’m just chatting in the text channels. I do find it funny when someone comes into the discord and they start up a conversation with someone and then say “Hey, want to come to voice?”
